I am a Fashion Designer at heart and have been since I was a child when I was playing dress up in my great-grandmother's dresses. As I grew older, my style and tastes definitely changed, but I found my place in the creative world. As an adult, I choose to relive those childhood days that I dressed up as a Fashion Designer. For me, fashion is both captivating & infuriating. One could say that it itself compels me to continue.
In my sparingly spare time, I do create in other artistic outlets. I have done nearly every medium possible. From sketching, painting, sculpting to digital editing, digital drawing, embroidery & knitting; in each medium, I've created with a variety of supplies. I chose to focus on the Graphic Arts as a minor in college for a more developed past time. |
I grew up in Manistee Michigan, a rather small town in Northern Michigan. It's most know for vacationing in the summer. I am the middle child and only daughter. I grew up as the odd little goth in middle school and high school. This wasn't a bad situation for me because I could focus on my studying as well as my art in its many forms.
I went to the local public school in Manistee and before that, just a country middle school. I graduated from Manistee with no special honors, but on time. For higher education, I just graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors of Applied Arts in Fashion design with a minor in Psychology. |
